MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) at First Pres exists for every mom – urban, suburban and rural moms…teen, single and married moms. It’s for mothers with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best mom that she can be!

As a part of MOPS International, the purpose of our local group is to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ.

We want to encourage the personal growth of each mom. We seek to value diversity, accepting every mother, no matter where she has been. God loves us and accepts us where we are, no matter what!

MOPS embraces different denominations, believers and non-believers, and all ethnic groups and affirming cultural uniqueness.

If you are a mother of a preschooler in the Lake Wales area, we would love to have you join us at one of our morning meetings. They are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. from September until the end of May. We meet in the Family Life Center located at the corner of 3rd Street and Central Avenue.

Child care (MOPPETS) is provided by an excellent group of volunteers.
