Our youth are ably led by Rev. Matthew J. Joldersma, our Minister of Youth. Matt is a graduate of Bethel College & Seminary with a degree in Youth Ministry, and obtained his Masters of Divinity from Erksine Theological Seminary with course work at Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando. Matt has guided the youth of First Presbyterian Church since 1998. Candy Joldersma, Matt’s wife since 2001, leads the MOPS (Mother’s of Pre-Schoolers) program here at FPC. They have three children, daughters Callie and Pippin, and their new son, Iannis.

- 2012 Youth Intern January 23, 2012 The Student Ministries at First Pres is looking for a Student Ministries Summer Intern. This position will report to Rev. Matthew Joldersma. The Intern will: Assist Youth Minister and volunteer staff with summer ministry to students. Attend multiple camps, conferences and/or mission opportunities. Help to develop and facilitate a Wednesday night summer program for youth. Develop Christ-like relationships with student population of FPC. Possibly assist in some Bible teaching. Various other duties.
